Cajun chicken platter is unlike anything else I've eaten. Whole family loves it. I love everything about this place.
Had my first visit and my meal (crawdad etouffee) that was made to order and it was very good. Not really spicy (at least to me) but it's easy to rectify that. The website is very out of date in terms of pricing but was justified by the huge portion. It was easily enough for 2. I have included a photo of the current menu and pricing. Plan to take your meal to go. I had hoped to dine in but they were absolutely BLASTING a regular radio station, including commercials, political ads, etc., over a large speaker. There were also 2 tv's, on different stations, playing at a low volume. The overall noise was overwhelming and uncomfortable. I have taken a star off the rating because of this. I sat outside next to a busy road instead because it was much quieter.
First time trying Cajun Island Blackened Chicken with Bow-tie pasta was recommended as a bestseller. This is a very eclectic New Orleans-style restaurant serving authentic style food, they even have gator bites which I didn't try this time. Most patrons were doing carryout and there was a wait for those that had a large order.
